Four Cleaning Techniques for PCBs

In ultrasonic systems, the PCB is immersed in a cleaning solution that is subsequently stirred up using sound waves that are louder than 20 kHz. As the sound waves may reach the populated circuit board from every angle, ultrasonic cleaning can be effective for cleaning beneath components and complicated geometries.

4. Washing by hand

Occasionally specialized geometries and materials are required to clean specific PCBs. Nothing beats plain of fashioned elbow grease in this situation. Building prototypes or performing electronic component rework/repair are examples of situations where manual cleaning is common and doesn’t need equipment investment. An automated cleaning method is advised for facilities with medium to high throughput, several shifts, and a need for consistent and dependable cleaning outcomes.
